In a changing world the survivors are those that are able to see the trends and adapt to them. “Social Capital” is seeking a way of adopting the best solutions with respect to their effect on the larger society in the future, and especially the distant future. EQuilibrium has taken this opportunity to capitalise on many years experience in social and personal change work, and combined these with a strategic talent to perceive the future.
Social Capital uses an expanded set of well-formed criteria in decision making and actions, so that “we” take care of our values and our client’s values. These criteria encompass not only the “bottom line outcomes” but also client satisfaction. We have a very high value on affiliation which is demonstrated by our respect and ecology for nature, the environment and the planet as a whole. “We” consider what we will bequeath to our children, our grandchildren and generations to come as the consequences of present actions take effect. “We” recognise that what is good for us, must be good for everyone if we are to survive better than the very short term. History is the record of the actions of our ancestors, and we are the history of generations to come. This is what we call the “spiritual” approach.
